THE ILL:

Please keep Leta Coddington’s sister, Cleta in your prayers. She is in Northeast Methodist hospital with estemic colitis.

Kenny Jones and Adam Wesolowski have not been feeling well this past week.

Remember the following who have ongoing medical problems:

Kathy Anderson, Sophie Burdett, Francie Childress, LaVerne Hinson, Robin Keller, Marzell Moore, Judy Varallo-Morris, Melissa Sharp, Barbara Sherrod, Maedean Weir, Elaine White, George Xenos, Al  Young and Ruth and J.R. Young.

Remember our military away from home: Abraham Rios II and Michael Robberts, both deployed to Afghanistan, and Isaac Oliverez. Remember our young people away at college:  Roy Rucker, Jr., Nicholas Whetstone, and Chance and Rance Ballard. Remember our brethren who are incarcerated: Leah Bolch and Chance Keller.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

Alexandria Cisneros came forward last Sunday requesting prayers for her family and help in dealing with other issues.

GRADUATION POTLUCK:

A Potluck Luncheon will be given to honor our 2012 graduate, Alexandria Cisneros, on 20 May following morning services.  If you would like to contribute to the monetary gift please see Kim Cobin or Brenda Ratcliff.

VBS:

Teachers are still needed for several of the adult classes as well as some of the children’s classes. If you are able to assist in this area please sign up. Also, enrollment forms can be found on the table in the foyer. Members of the congregation, please fill out your form early and return it to Adam or Kristina.

FYI:

A current letter from Sean O’Brien, 2nd year student at MSOP, is posted on the “Students We Support” bulletin board. Also, the most recent Grubb Mission Report is posted on the “Missions We Support” bulletin board.

Congratulations are extended to Sydney Crowley on her induction into the National Junior Honor Society this past week.

A volunteer is needed to clean the Education wing for the month of May.
