GUIDELINES FOR SELECTING A GOOD WIFE

• Don't put a high priority on good looks. (31:30, 11:22)
• Be sure she is discrete/ prudent (common sense). (11:22, 19:14)
• She must have good character/morals. (31:10)
• She should have wisdom (puts knowledge to work). (14:1)
• Avoid those who are contentious. (27:15, 21:19)
• Put first priority on a young lady who will respect the Lord. (31:30)

GUIDELINES FOR SELECTING A GOOD HUSBAND

• Don't put a high priority on wealth. (19:1, 19:22)
• Be sure he is honest. (19:1, 19:22)
• He must be kind and patient. (19:22, 14:29)
• He must respect his parents. (30:17, 19:26)
• He must keep good company and avoid controlling habits. (13:20, 20:1)
• Put first priority on a young man who will trust in God. (3:1-6)
