• We have a wonderful name to wear-the name of the only begotten Son of God.
  • God's people were promised a new name. (Isa 62:1-2)
  • That name is "Christian." (Acts 11:1, 18, 26)
  • Confessing that name cost our savior His life. (Mat 26:63-64)
  • We must wear the name God gave us, both as individuals and as a body. (1 Cor 1:12-13, 1 Pet 4:14-16, Rom. 16.16
• We have a wonderful way of life-a gift from God.
  • It is in fulfillment of one of God's promises. (2 Pet 1:3-4)
  • It is part of being true to the wonderful name. (2 Tim 2:19, Rom 13:13, Col 3:8)
  • Our conduct is modeled after that of our wonderful savior. (Phil 2:3-5, Mat 7:12)
• We have a wonderful promise of a wonderful future life-eternity with God and Christ. (John 14:2-3, 2 Cor 5:1, Rev 3:21)
